As part of using our application and interface, we apply a strict privacy policy aimed at minimizing technical data collection as much as possible.

What cookies do we use?

Our application exclusively uses two strictly necessary cookies essential for its operation:

Session Identifier (flexynook_sid / token): allows you to stay securely logged in throughout your navigation.
Timezone (flexynook_tz / International timezone code): allows schedules, bookings, and availability to be displayed correctly according to your local time zone.

No third-party, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics or social media trackers) are stored on your device.

Privacy-Friendly Audience Measurement (Umami Analytics)

To analyze application traffic and improve user experience in an ethical way, we use Umami Analytics, an open-source analytics solution self-hosted on our own secure servers.

Cookie-less tracking: Umami operates completely without cookies and does not use local storage on your device.
Anonymized data: All collected metrics (pages visited, performance indicators, device type, country) are fully anonymized and aggregated. No IP addresses are stored in an identifiable format.
Data sovereignty: Collected statistical data remains strictly hosted on our internal infrastructure and is never shared, sold, or transmitted to third parties.

Exemption from Consent Banner

In accordance with GDPR guidelines and European privacy regulations:

Essential cookies (flexynook_sid and flexynook_tz) are strictly necessary to deliver the requested service, so the application cannot function without them.
Umami Analytics operates without cookies and processes anonymized data, complying fully with privacy-by-design standards.

Consequently, no cookie consent banner is required when using FlexyNook. If you configure your browser settings to block all cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the application.
